Advisory work
Most screen projects do not fail at the level of ambition. They fail at the level of legibility, sequencing, or fit. I work selectively with producers, development executives, distributors, and brand-content leads on the upstream strategic problems that decide whether a project moves. The work focuses on packaging, rights logic, buyer positioning, audience pathway, and brand-entertainment translation. It is diagnostic and bounded. It is not execution, representation, or retainer-based.
The work
The work usually takes one of these forms. Each is scoped against the specific situation rather than sold as a fixed product.
-
Package diagnostic
Examines whether a project's positioning, attachments, and proposition will read clearly to the buyers it is being prepared for. Output: a written read on what is working, what is unclear, and what should change before the package goes out.
-
Pitch architecture review
Looks at whether a deck or pitch document answers the actual buyer question, in the right sequence, with the right weight on each section. Output: a structural read and recommended rewrites.
-
Rights and windows check
Examines whether the underlying rights logic, deal structure, and release sequencing of a project are clean enough to travel. Output: a written read on rights hygiene, weak points, and what to address before the next decision.
-
Market-fit read
Examines whether the audience pathway, buyer corridor, and commercial framing of a project match the markets it is aimed at. Output: a written assessment with recommendations.
-
Project audit
Examines a project as a whole strategic object across creative, commercial, rights, and market dimensions. Output: a structured diagnosis and a recommended next move.
-
Decision memo
A short written brief on a specific live question facing a project or slate. Output: a focused memo, not a full diagnostic.
Each engagement is scoped against the specific situation. Pricing is discussed in the first reply, not published publicly.
If you are working through a packaging, rights, or buyer-fit problem on a live project and want a sharper read on it, send a short note describing the situation to adi.tiwary08@gmail.com. I take a small number of these each quarter.
The advisory work is for decision-adjacent operators: producers and producer-directors, development executives, rights and distribution professionals, and brand-content leads. The common condition across all four is compression. The work is built for that.
